This firmware version was created to fix severalproblems with writing CDs and DVDs using Microsoft Windows Vista'snative write functions:
1. The system may hang while writing CD-Rs
2. The drive may generate errors while writing DVD+R DL discs
3. D iscs created by the drive may not be readable in other drives.
4. CD-RW discs may not format correctly.
