This firmware version was created to fix severalproblems with writing CDs and DVDs using Microsoft Windows Vista'snative write functions:
- The system may hang while writing CD-Rs
- The drive may generate errors while writing DVD+R DL discs
- Discs created by the drive may not be readable in other drives.
- CD-RW discs may not format correctly.
